Guided by Pastors and Staff

As people invest their hearts, time, families, and finances into the life of a church, it is important to feel confidence in church leadership. Seekers looking for a safe place to explore God and the person of Jesus Christ deserve the same. Our goal in sharing the details of Element's leadership structure is so people can better understand that Element is structured to support the values of integrity, accountability and spiritual authority. There are three main groups of leaders (Biblical elders) who seek to offer balance and accountability to one another. We are guided by Pastors/Staff, protected by Trustees, and strengthened by Advisors.

We Are Guided By Pastors

The Pastoral Staff team is led by the Lead Pastor. This team oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. These staff pastors and leaders serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church. The Staff Leadership Team members serve as Staff Elders. The Element Church Pastoral Leadership Team are:

We Are Protected By Trustees

The Trustees are members of Element and local leaders who oversee the finances, legal decisions and direct the provision of the facilities needed by the church. They provide counsel to the Pastoral Staff Team regarding the major financial commitments of the church. The Trustees serve as Non-staff Elders. The Trustees for Element Church are:

We Are Strengthened By the Pastoral Advisory Team

The Pastoral Advisory Team is comprised of pastors of respected congregations and ministries who love Element Church. These leaders serve when called upon and are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested by the Pastors, Staff Team or Trustees. These Advisors serve as Apostolic Elders. The Advisors for Element Church are:

+ Pastor Jerome Vierling of City Life Church in Lansing, Michigan (*Pastoral Advisory Team leader)
+ Pastor Derek Williams of Highpointe Church in Enterprise, Alabama
+ Pastor Devin Webb of Connect Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee

In addition, Element Church has affiliation with several larger networks: the Association of Related Churches (ARC), the Next Level Relational Network (NLRN) and the Campus Changer Network. All offer additional support, guidance, coaching and relationships.
