Funding is one of the primary challenges, and opportunities, within a unique church like Element. Community Churches typically fund themselves internally by assimilating families, teaching them to tithe, securing stable facilities and adding staff to serve the growing membership. In contrast, Campus Ministries typically fundraise outside the ministry externally understanding the students being reached, discipled and sent are not able to fund the ministry they so desperately need. Element Church, as a hybrid, looks to do both. We “function like a church but fund like a mission”. This means a meaning a stabilizing funding model for our hybrid organization requires a multi-faceted approach:
- Element will fund internally like a Community Church by teaching tithing & generosity within our membership.
- Element will fundraise externally like a Campus Ministry by recruiting and build a recurring monthly funding base through:
- Friends and Supporters of Element Church
- Parents of students
- Element Student Alumni
- Business and other Church Organizations
- Annual Vision Sundays
- Special Project Fundraising initiatives
- Element will empower Support Raised Staff through a partnership with Reliant Ministries
At Element Church we want to work with people who can’t always pay for the work and that is why we need partnership from people just like you. Transforming lives takes time, and while it’s work we love, we can’t do it alone. We are praying for financial partners who see the impact of what God is doing and want to join in. We’ve been doing multigenerational portable impact events on campus every 7 days for 16 years and have built a legacy of faithfulness and longevity that can be trusted. We will go in the pit if you will hold the rope. Join us here.
